Andrea Odom
Student Bar Association Representative, Peer Mentor Program Director, and Student Ambassador

I’m a 2L at Campbell Law, actively involved as an SBA Representative, Peer Mentor Program Director, Student Ambassador (you may have seen me giving tours!), and a proud member of Women in Law. I really enjoy connecting with others and being part of a community where we support and look out for each other.
Outside of law school, I’m a wife, mom, and creative at heart—I love making art, writing, and spending time with my family and our two playful dogs.
Before law school, I spent over six years working in the legal field, including four years in family law. I’m an Advanced Certified Paralegal through NALA and earned my B.S. in Paralegal Studies from Lander University with honors.
If nominated, I’ll run for SBA President. My goal will be simple: to be a president who listens—and acts!"
ABOUT ME!
vote andrea odom
to be your next sba president
Hello Campbell Law! I’m Andrea Odom, and I made this video to set expectations early in the event that I am nominated to serve as your SBA President.
Firstly, it has been a privilege to serve as your SBA representative for the last two election cycles. I’m an SBA representative who listens, and many of you have utilized me to effectuate change within our walls. My goal is to be an SBA president who listens. I will take action whenever called upon by any of you to improve the institution we’re all a part of.
I love our school and all of the people in it. That’s what makes me so passionate about my current roles and this potential new one. In addition to being your SBA representative, I’m currently a student ambassador and Peer Mentor Program Director. I have pursued each of these positions to make our school better, which is exactly what I intend to do if elected to serve as your SBA President.
The SBA is Campbell’s student government, and it serves the same main purpose as the American Constitution—to create a government run by the people, for the people. The SBA’s constitution first sets forth the goals of ensuring students’ personal freedom and the general welfare of the student body. That’s exactly what I want to ensure and facilitate!
If you see me around the halls this year, feel free to introduce yourself and ask questions. This is your school, and you deserve an SBA President who listens.
an sba president who listens
I would be honored to be nominated to serve as your next SBA President.
For the past two election cycles, I’ve had the privilege of serving as your SBA Representative. In that time, I’ve worked hard to be someone who not only hears your concerns—but also takes action. Many of you have trusted me to be your voice, and together we’ve already achieved real change within our walls.
My goal as SBA President is simple: to lead with empathy, act with integrity, and build a student government that truly listens. When students speak, I will respond. When issues arise, I will act. And when ideas are brought forward, I will do everything I can to bring them to life.
Beyond my SBA experience, I also serve as a student ambassador and Director of the Peer Mentor Program. I’ve pursued these roles because I genuinely love this school and the people in it. My passion for our community drives me to serve—and to keep working to make Campbell Law better for all of us.
I bring years of leadership experience from my previous career as a lead paralegal—where I managed teams, trained staff, and helped craft legal strategy. I know how to listen, solve problems, and get things done. I’m ready to bring that same energy and commitment to the role of SBA President.
The SBA is more than a student organization—it is our student government. Its purpose, like that of our nation’s Constitution, is to promote personal freedom and the general welfare of the people. That’s exactly what I intend to uphold and protect.
As President, I will:
• Prioritize open, ongoing communication between students and SBA leadership
• Act swiftly on student concerns to create practical, lasting solutions
• Ensure SBA reflects the diverse voices, needs, and experiences of our entire student body
• Advocate for student wellness, academic support, and professional growth opportunities
If you see me in the halls, please don’t hesitate to say hello or share your thoughts. I want every student to feel like they have a direct line to their student government—because you do.
Leadership starts with listening. It’s followed by action. That’s what I’ve done—and that’s what I’ll continue to do.
I respectfully ask for your vote to serve as your next SBA President.
Vote Andrea Odom—A President Who Listens!
With respect and dedication,
Andrea Odom
For SBA President
Committed to listening. Ready to lead.
My promises to you
YOUR SBA REPRESENTATIVE

a message FROM YOUR REP
Hi everyone! I’m Andrea Odom, and I’m honored to be serving as one of your Student Bar Association Representatives again this year!
For those who don’t know me yet—I’m a 2L, a Student Ambassador, Peer Mentor Program Director, and a returning SBA rep.
So, what does the SBA actually do?
The SBA is your student government. We’re here to be a voice for the student body. We plan events, help allocate funding to student orgs, and most importantly, we work to make your experience at Campbell better.
If there’s something you want to see happen—or something that needs to change—I want to hear from you. You can always come to me with ideas, questions, or feedback, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure it’s brought to the table.
Let’s make this a year of collaboration and real progress. I’m excited to work for you and with you!
Thanks for reading—and don’t be a stranger!

YOUR PEER MENTOR AND PROGRAM DIRECTOR

a message FROM YOUR MENTOR
Hi! I’m Andrea Odom, one of your Peer Mentor Program Directors—and I’m so excited to welcome you to Campbell Law! You made it through the hardest part—getting in—and now it’s time to start building your path forward.
And you don’t have to do it alone.
Let me tell you a little about why I’m here.
When I was a 1L, I had an incredible mentor who made all the difference. From teaching me how to brief cases to calming me down when I was convinced I had no idea what I was doing (we’ve all been there!)—they were my anchor. They helped me land my first summer job, shared study tips that actually worked, and reminded me that I belonged here.
That support was invaluable, and it’s exactly why I signed up to be a mentor—and why I also applied to help lead this program.
I want every 1L to feel seen, supported, and equipped to thrive.
My background is in family law, and before law school, I worked as a paralegal for nearly six years.
I’ve also served as a SBA representative, and I’m a Student Ambassador here at Campbell, so if you ever have a question about getting involved or making the most of your time here, I’ve probably got an answer—or I’ll help you find one.
I understand how overwhelming 1L year can be. From learning to outline and managing your time, to dealing with job pressure, finances, or even just adjusting to a new city—I've lived it. And I'm here to help you get through it.
Here’s what you can expect from me as your mentor:
• I’ll check in regularly—at least once a month—but always feel free to reach out any time.
• I’ll meet with you when you need me.
• And I’ll connect you with the right people and resources when you need help.
My goal is to make sure no one falls through the cracks. If you're struggling—academically, personally, or just feeling lost—reach out. You're not bothering anyone. You're doing exactly what you're supposed to: asking for support when you need it.
Whether you’re the type to ask 100 questions or just want someone to talk to once in a while, I’m here for it.
Welcome to Campbell. Let’s do this—together.

YOUR STUDENT AMBASSADOR

a message FROM YOUR TOUR GUIDE
Hello again! If you’re reading this, I probably gave you a tour of Campbell Law’s beautiful campus. I wanted to provide this statement as a reminder to you that our relationship doesn’t have to end with our tour. I am passionate about mentorship and I love to help people when they need it most and chances are that’s where you’re at.
I remember how daunting the application and selection process was when I was looking at law schools. It feels like the biggest decision you’ll ever make. I wanted to remind you that you will make the right decision in the end. This is an exciting time and try not to let the stress of this decision ruin the experience.
You have my contact information and I want you to reach out if you have questions or just need some additional support.
I would love to hear from you and wish you all the best!
